Delegation of Johns Hopkins University visited SAIAS

    On March 22, 2014, a delegation from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University visited SAIAS. The delegation was headed by Professor Bruce Parrot, an expert on Russian and Eurasian affairs at SAIS, and comprised fifteen SAIS students. Professor Feng Shaolei, director of SAIAS, gave a talk to the delegation on China’s perceptions of Russia-Europe relations.

    The visit was coordinated by Professor Liu Jun, vice-director of SAIAS. Fifteen Chinese students at SAIAS participated in the event and presented the US students with souvenirs. The Chinese and US students also held group and one-to-one discussions on the present international situation, their respective studies of international relations, and the positions taken by Chinese and US experts and policymakers on current world politics.
